Job Profile: Purchase Manager
Job Location: Ghaziabad
Salary Package: 10LPA-18LPA
Note: Packaging industry will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee sourcing and procurement for-
Raw Materials: Films, BOPP, CPP, Polyester, Aluminium Foil, Nylon Film, etc.
Packing Materials: Wooden pallets, tapes, wrapping papers, and other related materials.
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals.
Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Handle Purchase Orders (PO) and Purchase Requisitions (PR) efficiently and accurately.
Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising on quality.
Manage import operations, including material handling and compliance with import regulations.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production and operations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for all procurement activities.
Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and ensuring optimal performance.
Requirements:
Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech or equivalent in a relevant field.
Experience: 9-15 years of relevant experience in procurement and purchase.
Comprehensive knowledge of sourcing and procurement for films, packaging materials, and related products.
Proficient in vendor management, negotiation, and data handling.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Hands-on experience with import operations and documentation.
