Manager - Quality

Manager / Sr. Manager - Receiving Quality - Indore
For a Leading Auto OEM (Four-Wheeler Mfg.)

Role- Responsible for inward quality inspection of all types of commodities parts involved for Vehicle manufacturing like Sheet metal, casting, forging and machining, Hydraulics, Electrical Parts, interior & Exteriors.
Responsibilities: -
* Incoming part’s inspection of local, import parts.
* Follow up for corrective & preventive action at supplier end for the
 closures.
* PPAP of child parts at supplier end
* Coordinating of QC inspection of weld assay at supplier end 
* Resolution of line issues & support to line 
* Coordinating for improvement in supplier performance through
SQP.
* Control & reduce in supplier rejection of parts
* PPM monitoring
* Process audit at Supplier end
*  Ensuring, validating APQP and PPAP documents 
* Responsible for inspection and support documents for LOI approval
* To continuously improve the Quality, Cost, Delivery, Warranty and New Product Introduction 
* Preparing and circulating the vendor rating.
* Monitoring supplier rejection PPM VS target level
* Initiate action plan to reduce supplier PPM
* Preparation of Quality plan & Visual alerts for critical parameters
* Special gauge identification, designing and implementation.
* STD gauge identification & implementation for inspection.
* Ensuring, validating PFD, PFMEA, and Control Plan at supplier end.
* Responsible for Quality Audits and documentation .
Candidate-
BE/ B. Tech in Mechanical with 12- 18 years of experience in Auto sector (Preferably OEM's) in Inward quality function.
Should have good knowledge and experience in different commodities parts specification, testing methods.
Should have good understanding of Warranty function of parts.
Good understanding of metallurgical requirements.
Expert in Metrology function.
