Sr. Engineer/ Asst Mgr.- ( Lead ) - SQA (Central SQA) - Pune

For a Leading Group of Auto Components Mfg.

KRA's -

• Critical Supplier Upgradation as per plan 

 • Implementation of quality management standards at Supplier end

 • Supplier Audit and Reporting

 • PTR / PPAP for New and cost saving projects 

 Responsibilities   

• Identify Critical suppliers under VSME and ensure their upgradation to achieve A rating

 • Ensuring implementation of specific projects like Problem Solving, IT Enablement

 • Ensure implementation of quality standards at the supplier end

 • Ensure compliance to all statutory, regulatory and customer related quality requirements (MACE, MSES) at supplier end

 • Conduct Pilot Test Runs at the supplier end and ensure development of parts in line with program timing

 • Ensure Timely supplier audits, coordinate with the supplier to improve the audit quality and ensure proper Documentation

 • Improve cost saving by conducting Production Test Report (PTR) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) 

Requirements- 

Central function, system knowledge: IATF, MNC 

Auditing skill, Supplier quality function, negotiation, system development    

Part Development: NPD + PPAP

Certified IATF Auditor    

CQI certified (optional) Plating, surface coating, welding, hardening, casting   

Qualification- BE in Mechanical/ Automotive (bachelors) with 5-7 yrs experience in handling Supplier Quality preferably Central Quality of Auto Components Units.  

Supplier Western Zone (in and around Pune)   

Skills Excel and Power point, communication
